ESPN’s 2024 National Championship show open was nominated for a Sports Emmy Award in the Best Show Open category amongst a list of top 5 from the past year.

Filmed on location with John Williams at the Sony Pictures lot while live recording the custom track for the show’s opening this year’s open featured a NASA in Houston where the game took place.
